Porter began as a regional carrier at Toronto's downtown Billy Bishop airport and has since added Embraer E195-E2 jets at Pearson, pushing into transcontinental and US leisure markets. Its pitch is an elevated economy experience: no middle seats on the E2, free beer and wine, and free Wi-Fi on every seat.
