Delta Air Lines Baggage Allowance
Delta allows one carry-on bag and one personal item on every fare, including Basic Economy. Delta publishes no weight limit for carry-on baggage except on a handful of international routes. Delta charges for checked bags on domestic Main Cabin and Basic Economy fares. Medallion members, Delta SkyMiles American Express cardholders, and Delta One / Premium Select passengers get free allowances.

How fees work
Domestic bag fees are charged per bag, per direction, and are the same online or at the airport. International allowances vary sharply by region.
Overweight bags
Overweight fees apply from 23 kg (50 lb) to 45 kg (100 lb).
Oversize bags
Oversize fees apply above 157 cm (62 in) total linear dimensions.
